Residential Programs
Residence programs are offered in Tyler to help individuals or families move from overnight or temporary shelter care into stable housing. Those involved may need this service for a number of reasons, including family dislocation, disaster, de-institutionalization or just a shortage of income.
Some of our program components that help individuals or families get back on the road to self-sufficiency are counseling, access to child care, housing and resources to assist with job hunting.
The Center of Hope in Tyler offers three programs: a transient program for those who are seeking short-term accommodations, a 90-120 day H.E.L.P. (Holistic Employment and Life-Skills Placement program, to achieve self-sufficiency, and a substance abuse recovery program.
Residential Settings
Our residential services include meals, counseling services, case management services, transportation and recreational services.
The opportunity is provided to all residents to take part in worship and other activities at our Salvation Army corps.
