Youth Programs

Our youth programs are designed to help our young people in Texas develop socially, intellectually and spiritually. Our desire is to see our young people grow into successful and responsible leaders in their communities. We want our youth to set their educational goals high and pursue a college degree. We want our young people to encounter God and develop a closer relationship with Him.

Some of our youth programs include:

After-school Programs:

Tyler provides daily after-school programs, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our programs provide training in social skills, help with schoolwork and the opportunity to participate in a variety of physical education activities.

Summer Day Camp:

During the summer when school is out, we offer Summer Day Camp programs to provide a place for children of working parents to go during the weekdays. While in our care, the children can participate in recreational activities such as sports, games and field trips to exciting places like the zoo or a water park. Educational components are available through computer labs, tutoring and mentoring.

Many of the day-campers arrive at 7 a.m. and stay as late as 6 p.m. We provide nutritional meals and snacks in a safe environment.

Bible Study

Each Wednesday night, the youth from Tyler gather together to explore their lives in Christ. We teach different age groups starting with 5 year olds to 18 year olds. The kids are split into their appropriate age groups and are taught lessons from the Bible.

We take great care in teaching the youth about the life of Jesus Christ and the life that God wants us to live. Each class is designed to talk to the youth about their daily struggles.

Gospel Arts

Gospel Arts has proven in Tyler to be a beneficial program. Kids are encouraged to express themselves through drama, mime, singing, dancing, and acting. Our program is focused on presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ through various forms.

This program is open to anyone who is willing to help. The kids enjoy this time to express their talents and abilities that God has given them.

W.A.T.E.R.

W.A.T.E.R. stands for Walking After The Eternal Redeemer which is our motto for the Youth Group which meets on Friday Nights. The group is composed of 12 to 21 year olds who are commited to focusing their lives after Jesus Christ. This group of Tyler teens are standing firm in their faith and witnessing to others. The group is designed to take the teens away from the stressors of life and have an evening which is focused on God's Word and plenty of fun activities. Some of our recent activities have been roller skating, movies, bowling, and much more.

Our goal is to teach these teens not only fun, but also important life skills. We have had several work projects which include: cleaning around the facility, cooking a good meal for each other, ringing the bell at a kettle, and lots more. We are teaching the teens not only about life, skills, friends, relationships, but most importantly we teach them all of this based on the Bible.
